I tried to connect my site and I keep getting a 401 Unauthorized. The AI says it cannot reach my WordPress REST API. What is the usual cause?

A 401 almost always means the Application Password or username is wrong, or the site is not on HTTPS. Three things to check: 1) create the Application Password under Users > Profile (not your login password), 2) copy it including the spaces, 3) make sure the site loads over https. This was it for me - I had pasted my normal login password by mistake. New Application Password fixed it instantly.
