For WordPress and WooCommerce, install the free wptaskify plugin and click Connect (or add your site with an Application Password). For Shopify, paste your store domain and access token in the dashboard. Then add the wptaskify MCP link in Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client and sign in - your tools appear right inside the chat. Setup takes about two minutes.

You need a WordPress site or a Shopify store, and your own Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP-compatible AI client. You can start on the free plan to explore, but to run the tools you'll need a paid Claude, ChatGPT or other MCP-compatible AI plan (typically from about $20/month). That's the only AI cost - and because you're using an AI you'd pay for anyway, wptaskify never charges you for AI on top.

Yes. wptaskify follows the open MCP standard, so any MCP-compatible client - Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, Cursor, Windsurf, Cline and others - can connect using the same link and use all 280 tools. You're never locked to one AI.

Yes. wptaskify supports WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify from one dashboard, one login and one connector. wptaskify encrypts your WordPress credentials with AES-256 and isolates every account so no user can access another's data. File edits are backed up first and syntax-checked, so a bad change cannot take your site down.

wptaskify connects using a dedicated WordPress application password, not your main login, and stores it encrypted with AES-256. You can revoke that access from WordPress at any time.

No. wptaskify does not use your site content to train any AI model. Your content is processed only to carry out the tasks you request through your own Claude, ChatGPT or MCP client.

If you cancel, you can disconnect your site and your stored credentials are removed. Your WordPress content stays on your own site - wptaskify never holds your website itself.

"Bring your own AI" means wptaskify plugs into the Claude or ChatGPT subscription you already have, instead of bundling and re-charging you for AI. This saves you a second AI bill - often $20 to $190+ a month compared with tools that include their own AI.

One tool action is one thing your AI does on your site - write a post, fix a page's SEO, add an internal link, or run an audit. Each paid plan includes a monthly allowance (5,000 to 100,000) that resets every billing cycle. Your dashboard shows exactly how many actions you have left (e.g. "4,850 / 5,000") with a progress bar, and warns you when they run low - so nothing stops without notice. If you run out mid-cycle you can buy an add-on pack (extra actions) any time, or just wait for the reset. Images use separate image credits.

Yes. Once connected, your AI can write a full SEO article, generate its images, set the SEO fields, and publish it to your WordPress site - all from a single instruction. Publishing still respects your approval settings.

In your wptaskify dashboard, open Add site and choose the Shopify option, then paste your store's myshopify.com domain and an Admin API access token. It's validated and encrypted instantly. After that, add the wptaskify MCP link in Claude, ChatGPT or your MCP client and your store tools appear in the chat.

Yes. One wptaskify account, one login and one connector cover all your WordPress sites, WooCommerce stores and Shopify stores. You tell the AI which site or store to act on, and your plan's site limit applies across all platforms.

Yes. Order tools are read-and-update only - the AI can view orders, update their status, add notes and process refunds, but it cannot delete orders or customer data. Everything still respects your approval settings, and your store credentials are AES-256 encrypted.

First confirm the wptaskify plugin is installed and active and that your WordPress REST API is reachable. If a connection is rejected, wptaskify shows the specific reason (for example a theme error or wrong credentials) so you can fix it and reconnect.

This usually means the connector needs to be re-authorized. Remove and re-add the wptaskify MCP connector in Claude, ChatGPT or your MCP client and sign in again; your site's tools will reappear in the chat.

An action can pause if it needs your approval, if you have reached your monthly limit, or if WordPress rejected the change. wptaskify reports the reason so you can approve it, upgrade, or adjust and retry.

Yes. Billing is monthly, you can cancel in one click, and there is no annual lock-in. You keep access until the end of the paid period.

You can change plans any time from your account; upgrades apply immediately and downgrades or cancellations apply from the next billing cycle. There are no lock-in contracts.

Yes. Payments run securely through Razorpay, and wptaskify never sees or stores your card details.
