What is an AI SEO Score?

• Question-style headings that match how people ask.
• A concise answer directly under each heading.
• Lists and short paragraphs an engine can lift.
• A clear entity definition and FAQ structure.

A high AEO score means an answer engine can find and lift a clean answer from your page, which is increasingly how people get their information.

The GEO layer

GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) measures the signals that make generative AI cite you:

• Citation-readiness: factual, objective statements AI can quote with confidence.
• Trust signals: clear authorship, external sources and freshness.
• Data and specifics rather than vague filler.
• Content that reads as a reliable source, not marketing fluff.

GEO is the newest layer and the one most sites score low on, which makes it a strong place to gain an edge.

How to read and raise your score

Treat the score as a priority list, not a grade:

1. Fix red items first. A failed check is a concrete, quick win.
2. Start with the weakest layer. If GEO is low, add data, sources and answer-first structure.
