Why product descriptions decide whether you get found
Product descriptions are not just sales copy. They are the main text search engines and AI answer engines read to understand what you sell. A thin or missing description means Google has little to rank and AI has nothing to cite. A specific, well-structured one wins on both.
Most stores have the same problem: dozens or hundreds of products with one-line descriptions, copied manufacturer text, or nothing at all. Writing them by hand is a wall of work, so it never gets done. This is exactly the job AI is good at, as long as you do it carefully rather than pumping out generic filler.
The goal is not just more words. It is descriptions that are unique per product, answer-first, specific, and marked up so search engines and AI can use them. Do that across the catalog and you improve SEO, AEO and GEO at the same time.
